Who's behind it

Matheus Kiszka Scheffer

Cardiologist · Clinical arrhythmia specialist · Instituto Dante Pazzanese (São Paulo, Brazil)

Aprenda ECG is led by Dr. Matheus Kiszka Scheffer, a Brazilian cardiologist and arrhythmia specialist who works in Tele-electrocardiography at the Instituto Dante Pazzanese de Cardiologia in São Paulo and has experience training residents, students and physicians.

His career spans clinical practice, teaching and research. He sees the ECG as a decisive tool in patient care, and also as a field where many concepts are still taught in a fragmented, rote or outdated way.

He has written three books on the subject, including the well-regarded Eletrocardiograma de A a Z. At Aprenda ECG, his mission is to turn that knowledge into a clearer, more practical, evidence-based way to study.
